Sinatra Lashelle Edwards, 51 of 700 Ashewyck Commons, Fuquay Varina, N.C., entered into eternal peace on Wednesday May 27, 2026 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC.

Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 1:00pm at Works for Christ Church on Fire Tower Rd., Sanford, NC, Rev. Dr. Alice Hooker, Pastor, Rev. Clint Edwards, Presiding.  No wake/visitation.

Ms. Sinatra Lashelle Edwards was born July 3, 1974 to Jerry Wayne Harrington and Emma Jean Edwards in Lee County, North Carolina. "NOT" quietly and softly departed this life early on Wednesday morning, May 27, 2026 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh N.C.

She was always affectionately know as "NOT" by all who knew her.  She graduated from Lee County High School in 1994.

Sinatra was a very hard worker and didn't mind working. She continued to work until her health failed and prevented her from working. "NOT" worked at several places such as: Eagle Electric, Sara Lee, McDuff Cleaners and most recently Walmart in Fuquay Varina, NC.  "NOT" loved to eat, shop, play cards and just fellowship with family and friends.  "NOT" also had a special hobby "fishing". (Bobby McBryde and Doris Richmond were two fishing buddies.

Sinatra "NOT" Edwards will be truly missed by many family and friends..

She was preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Jean, Frederick Johnson (Delois), especially her beloved beautiful daughter "Ashleigh Denise Jackson"; grandparents Wade Harrington, Jannie Harrington, Vernice Harrington, James Johnson (Harriet), Sisters: Jennifer Morrison (Arlene) and Carlita McIver (Birdy); nephew Fredarius McIver.

"NOT" was truly a blessing to al who knew her.  She had a genuine heart and would help anyone because she never met a stranger..

Her memories will forever be treasure by her family: daughters Tamia Edwards and Andrea Jackson; sons Jacorey Edwards and Jody Scales, grandchildren: Cassidy, Kartier, Lil Ashley (Mini), Isaiah, Jaslynn, Jody III, Mylah and Jaliyah; Sisters Portia Edwards (Kenneth Petty), Stephanie Harrington (Alfonzo) and Harriet Burch; brothers: Lintra Harrington and Anthony Wilson (Candace); Her loving grandmother who also helped in her upbringing Corrine Edwards; Uncles: Wade Harrington (Rev. Diane), Thurman Johnson (Min. Annie), Herman Johnson (Min. Ola), Carl Edwards (Pam), Ben Edwards (Phyllis), Wayne Edwards (Mary), Tommy Edwards, Jeff Edwards and Anthony Edwards (Debbie); Aunts: Min. Jessie Mims, Pam Hooker, Helen Covington, Min. Merdie McFadden, Elder Dora Williams, Doris Richmond, Sarah Douglas and Beverly McLean; Aunt "NOT" as they called her had nieces and nephews that she truly adored: Ke-key, Juicy, Bubbles, Shardae, Tyler, Tee Tee, Ween, Bre, Jaden, KJ, Jaylah and Lisey Pooh.; God children: Bre and Jr.; special Cousins: Jannie (Pooh bear) who preceded her in death, Derrick, Nina, Diamond, Angela (Dotsie), Tony; She also had a very special sweet neighbor by the name of Linsey Fore who kept a careful watch out for her and they treated each other like family.  "NOT" has a host of other relatives and friends
