Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 1pm at First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Thomas Smith, Pastor and Visitation/Viewing will be from 11am-1pm prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Lee Memory Gardens, Sanford, NC

She is preceded in death by her father, James H. Battle, her mother, Ruth Battle, and brother, James Battle, II.

She is survived by her husband Robert T. Reives, her son, Robert T. Reives, II (Cynthia), and two grandchildren she adored, Brianna Reives and Robert T. Reives, III.  Also surviving are three sisters Carol McCullough, and Linda Battle, both of Sanford, NC, and Diane Daugherty (Craig) Charlotte, NC; one brother Russell McBryde, Sanford, NC, two nephews Brian Brown, Charlotte, NC; and James Battle, III, New Port News, Virginia;   sister in laws, Linda Reives Horton, Sanford, NC and Debbie Battle, New Port News Virginia, and a brother in law, Ira Gainey, Jr., Sanford, NC. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
