Ms. Mary Ida Little departed her earthly life on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 peacefully at her daughter's residence.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 her home church, Sidney Grove Church of Deliverance, 401 McIntyre Road, Ellerbe, NC, from 12 - 1pm. The celebration of Life service will begin at 1pm.

Ms. Mary will be remembered for her hardworking service to the students of Montgomery County Schools, where she retired after many years.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her immediate family: Children: Martha Little of Wilmington, NC, Brenda Little of Asheboro, NC, and Toshia Little of Candor, NC, and Tony Little of the home in Candor, NC. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sisters: Elizabeth Pratt of Morven, NC and Martha Higgs of Elliott City, MD
