Mrs. Evelyn Williams White, 79 of 623 San Lee Dr., Sanford, N.C. died Tues. July 18, 2017 at Central Carolina Hospital.

Service will be conducted on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 3:00pm at Fair Promise A.M.E.Zion Church, 712 Wall St., Rev. Verlon Anderdson, Pastor and Rev. Paul McNeil Eulogist, Pastor of Christian Life Family Worship Center of Sanford.

Evelyn Williams White was born to Bonnie Womble Williams and Alexander Williams.
She attended W. B. Wicker School. She retired from Lee County Group Home United Cerebral Palsy. Evelyn had a love for life and God. She was an honorary member of Christian Life Family Worship Center in Sanford, NC. She attended faithfully, as long as her health permitted. She loved family and children. She was a surrogate mother to many. She enjoyed cooking, fishing and playing bingo.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Wilbert Dyshurn (Minnie)Williams, Frederick Avon Spinks (Lori) and Moriah Shanice James. She has nine grandchildren: Bobby, Jocelyn, Sheila, Dyshurn, Marcus, Zoleta, Darcus, Veronica and Rayshurn. She has eighteen grands andseveral great-grandchildren, 10 siblings: Bennie Lewis Williams, J. B. Chalmers, Donnie Williams (Vernadette), Ivory Williams (Lola), Emma Jean Thompson, Sonya Kill (John), Blondine Hawkins, Theresa Spinks, Bonnie Jones, and Rachel Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and a dear friend Annie Nelson.

Family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Theressia Spinks 409 SanLee Dr., Sanford. No Wake. Viewing will be on Sunday at the church at 1:30pm til 3pm.
