Early was the second daughter of Mrs. Treather Page Mack and the late Golden Mack, Sr. She was born March 18th, 1942 in Marion, SC. Early Mae Mack of Marion, SC, departed this earth on Saturday July 17th, 2010 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC.

Early became a Christian in her youth and grew up to have an active life in the church. She served on many committees and assisted in church activities. Early was educated in the Marion Count, South Carolina school system. She graduated from Jonakin High School in Marion, SC, and attended Benedict College in Columbia, SC. After living in the states of Maryland and Pennsylvania for many years, she retired from AT&T and returned to South Carolina. Upon her return, she reactivated her membership at the Greater Fork Chapel A.M.E. Church.

Early loved her family and the family loved her, affectionately calling her 'Pee Wee'. She was reserved, kind, loving and generous. She loved family gatherings, taking photographs and traveling. Travel became limited in later years due to family illness.
