Carol Jeanette Battle McGollough,78 of 516 Makepeace St., Sanford, N.C. entered into eternal rest on Monday morning at her residence.

Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026 at 2:00pm at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Colon, NC.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories: two sisters: Linda Battle of Sanford, N.C., Diane B. Daugherty (Craig) of Charlotte, N.C. Russel Thompson (Maggie) of Sanford, NC, 1 great niece, 3 nephews, 2 great nephews, Special friends: Odessa Alston and Addie Reives, other relatives and friends.
